Niamh Phillips Ceramics

Niamh is a Leeds based ceramic designer/maker, specialising in porcelain. Her work explores the relationship between form, colour and tactility. Each piece is unique due the nature of her slip casting process. Niamh uses stained porcelain to create interesting colour combinations and patterns in the mould. The work is then high fired, glazed on the inside and sanded on the outside to create a satin smooth surface. Niamh aims to create a cohesive voice across her collections, each piece is thoughtfully designed to bring joy to the everyday.
