9Paula Dunn (Resident Artist)
Paula is a landscape painter whose work is deeply influenced by walking the land, where climate and weather shape her artistic vision. Her practice has evolved from representational landscapes to more abstract interpretations, primarily using oils and cold wax to create depth and texture.
Alongside her studio practice, she designs and delivers workshops introducing artists to working with oils. While regularly teaching at The Craft House in Bingley, she has also been invited to lead masterclasses in Canada and Ireland in 2025.
She is the selected artist for the North York Moors National Park’s 2025 conservation exhibition and in September 2025, her book Atmospheric Landscapes: Using Oils and Cold Wax will be published by Crowood Press, offering insight into her techniques and creative journey.
