Rowan Bridgwood
Rowan is a textile artist based in Queensbury, West Yorkshire. She draws inspiration from folklore and the natural world to create hand-embroidered pieces full of narrative and meaning. By meticulously hand stitching onto vintage and reclaimed fabrics, Rowan breathes new life and new stories into materials steeped in history and memory. Her work has been exhibited throughout the North.
Rowan also co-runs Thread Collective, a textile crafts organisation bringing people together through creativity. Through workshops and socials Thread Collective facilitates creative engagement and cultivates supportive artistic communities in the North of England.
