Tabby Textiles
Tabby textiles is a creation of textile artist and hand weaver Becky Sunter. Her woven pieces are inspired by worn and disrupted surfaces, peeling paint, rusted metals and graffitied walls.
Becky observes closely the spontaneous splash of a spray can, and its relation to the surface it reacts with, a complete contradiction to the slow methodical process of weaving.
