Teresa Flavin

Teresa is a Leeds-based illustrator and children’s book author who has written and illustrated for publishers in the USA and UK in addition to creating personal artworks for exhibition. Her current work reflects her interest in nature and botanical themes with figurative historical and folkloric elements.

She uses mixed media processes including printed ephemera and mono-printed papers as collage elements alongside acrylic paint, acrylic gouache, oil crayons, pencils and inks. Teresa’s paintings combine expressive mark-making, colour and texture with fine hand-painted detail and craft.
