Inspired by the countryside surrounding her home in Hebden Bridge, Kate uses colour and shape as a visual language with influences from mid-century art & patterns. Kate uses beautiful rich colourful metals – cool silver, vibrant titanium blues, with warm earthy tones from copper & brass.
She makes all the pieces by hand, piercing the fine details with a saw, inlaying contrasting metals & carving delicate patterns with a pendant drill. From tiny studs, to necklaces, pendants, earrings & brooches, each piece is unique.
