Kate Rhodes Jewellery
Inspired by the countryside surrounding her home in Hebden Bridge, Kate uses colour as a visual language with inspirations from sculpture, nature & patterns. She loves to doodle & then take them to the workbench to play, before taking the experiments back to the drawing board.
Colour plays an important part, from the metals she loves to use – cool silver, Vibrant blues from titanium, & warm earthy tones from copper & brass. All the pieces are hand made, piercing the fine details with a saw, soldering, inlaying contrasting metals & carving light & detailed patterns, which makes each piece unique.
