Wendy Robinson: Photography

Wendy is a former athlete and her understanding of sport and what it offers us has evolved over the years. Wendy once interviewed volunteer coaches about their motivation and one claimed it was his way of upholding the human right to be the best we can be. Here are people of Shipley being that: performing at their highest level both as sports people and as human beings; as competitors, coaches and friends.
This is also a celebration of Shipley’s rich sporting tapestry and of its diverse environments where we can play. And of course, the volunteers who make it happen.
