Suzanne’s art is inspired by the beauty and diverse coast and countryside especially in our Yorkshire region.She likes to capture the tranquility of the subject and aims to convey these emotions to the viewer.
For many years Suzanne has chosen watercolour as her main medium and finds its versatility and translucent qualities are essential to bring light into her paintings, from the large washes of paint, to the final delicate detail.
From the initial design of the painting Suzanne aims to give impact and invites the viewer to explore the place she felt an impulse to paint.
